今日は女子ワールドカップの決勝戦が行われました。日本VSアメリカ。日本は負けてしまいましたが、世界2位ってすごいことですね。

高校を卒業してから海外に住むことが多く、自分は”日本人”ということを強く感じることが多々ありました。特にスポーツを見ていると、周りが誰だろうが日本を心から応援している。奇声を発して時に回りにクレイジーと思われていたかもしれませんが、日本の試合を見ているといつも心から応援していました。

フィリピンに住んでいた時のスポーツでの思い出が2つあります。

I watch a soccer Woman World Cup Soccer Final Japan vs USA this morning.  Unfortunately Japan lost the game, however the runners up is great result for themand I am pround of them.

I felt my identity as a Japanese citizen many time in past during my stay in other countries. Especially when I was watching international match of Japan national team. It does not matter where I was, I always cheered my team even I was watching the game outside of Japan.

I have 2 memories that I strongly felt I am Japanese when I lived in the Philippines....
