I guided a school group yesterday. The route was OCHUDO which is historical TRAIL for Fujiko. Fujiko is Edo-period Shinto sect dedicated to the worship of Mt. Fuji . Only people who had climbed Mt. Fuji more than 3 times are allowed to walk on Ochudo.

The wonderful view of lakes and Japan alps.
It is easy walk takes only 2 hours return trip at 5th station on Yoshidaguchi trail. He trail is available except for winter.
